On behalf of the Pan American Karate Federation (PKF), it is with great pleasure that we invite all National Karate Federations members of PKF to participate in the forthcoming XXI Junior Panamerican Championship to be held from August 15^th to 23^rd in Montreal , Canada.

You are request you to register your competitors not later than August 02, 2010 to the address below with copy to the PKF Secretary General. For registrations after August 02 additionally US$ 10 must be paid for each registration.

XXIV SENIOR PANAMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2010 IN QUITO, ECUADOR

The 13^th, 14^th and 15^th of May last the 24^th Panamerican Senior Karate Championships took place in Quito (Ecuador), with the participation of 23 National Federations of the whole American Continent.

The WKF President Antonio Espinós attended a brilliant Opening Ceremony and also the whole event, which was very well organized by the "Federación Ecuatoriana de Kárate" presided over by Julio Escudero (in the picture). On Friday the PKF Congress took place 14th took place. This Congress was kindly rescheduled by the PKF President William Millerson to allow the presence of the WKF President.

Also took place a meeting of the Central American and Caribbean Karate Federation with the presence of 12 National Federations, as the ODECABE Games will be celebrated next July in Mayaguez (Puerto Rico). During these games an extra ordinary congress will be organized to elect a new board of the federation.

The level of the competitions showed the increasing progress of Karate in the Americas, as well as the good relationships and perfect atmosphere between the PKF National Federations and all other PKF components.
